Russian Premier League All-Star Game

We were overtaken by another pause in club games, and the national teams will again take up the task. So far, the game of our clubs brings us little positive emotions, especially in European competitions. There are no bright games, let alone results, yet. But today we will try to find something positive in our club football. What if the RPL were to host the All-Star Game right now? A kind of game between all the notable players in the league. Which players would be on the teams? We’ll think about it today.

So, the format of the event is quite simple – two teams with the strongest players in the Russian championship. We will not divide Russian stars and legionnaires into a team, since at least two main goalkeepers-legionaries cannot be found in our championship. Therefore, we will simply form a list of the best, and after choosing two team captains, we will recruit teams … You can try to predict the outcome of the match, and predictions for other matches are available on the website In general, this procedure is very similar to that used in the NBA for the All-Star Game. Team size: 3 goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 9 midfielders, 6 forwards.

Акинфеев и легендарная

The composition of the goalkeeper position is pretty obvious. Of course, Igor Akinfeev, a long-term guard of CSKA and the Russian national team, will be included in the All-Star Game. If we go through other closest candidates for the national team, we find in the front ranks the Dynamo goalkeepers – Anton Shunin, Sochi – Soslan Dzhanaev and Lokomotiv – Guilherme. Let’s not forget about young talents: Matvey Safonov (Krasnodar) and Alexander Maksimenko (Spartak), come here!

Defensive positions in such a match are clearly not a primary task, but nevertheless, you need to recruit cool players in this line too. Briefly by surnames:

  • Yaroslav Rakitsky,
  • Dejan Lovren,
  • Yuri Zhirkov,
  • Douglas Santos (Zenith),
  • Georgy Jikia,
  • Samuel Gigot,
  • Airton,
  • Victor Moses (Spartak),
  • Vedran Chorluka (Lokomotiv),
  • Mario Fernandez (CSKA),
  • Christian Ramirez,
  • Igor Smolnikov (Krasnodar),
  • Andrey Semenov (Akhmat),
  • Kirill Kombarov (Arsenal).

Well, there are also many Zenit representatives here, nevertheless the champion … Malkom, Daler Kuzyaev, Vilmar Barrios, Alexander Erokhin represent the club from the banks of the Neva. A locomotive, and two volunteers at once – Anton Miranchuk and Grzegorz Krychowiak. The army club did not stand aside – Nikola Vlasic, perhaps the best attacking midfielder of the championship right now, as well as Alan Dzagoev. We will gather many representatives of Krasnodar – Remy Cabella, Victor Klassen, Wanderson, Tony Vilhena, Yuri Gazinsky, Alexey Ionov. Zelimkhan Bakaev – as the highlight of Spartak’s midfield – of course, is also in our cage. Well, and one local hero from the clubs is simpler: Pavel Mamaev from Rostov, Khvicha Kvaratskheliya from Rubin and Christian Noboa from Sochi (after all, the championship’s top scorer right now).

Well, and the most interesting! Those who make the main show create chances and score goals. Spartak immediately delegated his entire attack to Ponce, Jordan Larsson, Alexandra Kokorin and Sobolev. Next Zenit – Artem Dzyuba and Serdar Azmun, common! Fedor Chalov from CSKA, of course, is also with us. Fedor Smolov, no matter how controversial he has been for the past couple of years, is still a prominent player and cannot pass our event. Strikers Rubin and Sochi Djordje Despotovich and Anton Zabalotny have been selected by us to the list of the coolest RPL players. Young and hot Shapi from Krasnodar deserves a choice for such a game. The drawn striker and face of the Urals in recent years – Eric Bikfalvi – is also in our cage.
